Description
The SM-102 LNP formulation, containing enhanced green fluorescent protein mRNA, is developed using a standard LNP formulation with the key ionizable lipid SM-102. The cargo, EGFP (N1meψ) mRNA, has undergone full modification of all U bases with N1-methyl-pseudo-uridine. Upon translation, EGFP (N1meψ) mRNA generates enhanced green fluorescent protein, which emits fluorescence at 507nm upon excitation at 488nm. This mRNA sequence is widely employed as a fluorescence reporter in mRNA therapeutics and delivery system development endeavors. This formulation acts as a reliable control for evaluating the suitability of the SM-102 LNP formulation for your mRNA product in both in vitro and in vivo experiments.
