EGFP, originating from Aequorea victoria and introduced in 1996, is a fundamental green fluorescent protein. It is characterized as a rapidly maturing weak dimer with moderate sensitivity to acidic conditions. This mRNA possesses a Cap1 structure, which is highly eficient in capping. It is fully substituted with N1-methyl-pseudo Uridine to improve expression and decrease immunogenicity. Additionally, the mRNA features a 119A tail in its sequence, resembling a mature mRNA.
