CRISPR Gene-Activation

Guided by short sgRNA (14-16nt) with modified scaffold, wild type SpCas9 will bind at the target site and won’t release, thus the MS2-P65-HSF1 component can bind with the modified loops in sgRNA scaffold and activate the nearby transcription, which possibly lead to more than 1000 folds augment of gene expression*.
